Week 3


So I veered wildly off course. This is where we were headed, but I was stalling, until I went mad, gave up, and started anyways. Plan is to have all interiors as 2D and all exteriors as 3D. The core of this game is going to be flying around, performing errands and making potions. An amalgam of childhood dreams and present escapist fantasies. I will make this match the reverie in my head. 

This week:

- Started the dimension hopping. The cube is a door, the sphere is a bottle for testing purposes. 

- Redid the theme. I still need a different title. Suggestions appreciated.

Next week:

- (3D) Third person camera math. I've written at least three of these, hopefully it will become easier.

- (3) Jump/fly controls.

- (3) Do some shader/lighting work

- (2D) Redo the main level, turn it into an actual house with a collision trigger exit.
